This yarn is hand dyed from natural dyes. It is 70 percent baby alpaca, 7 percent Merino wool, 23percent nylon. It is so soft and warm. It would make excellent close to the skin garments, like scarves, sweaters, baby blankets, hat. This would be an excellent gift for a crocheter or knitter. It is a variegated yarn of yellow orange and white It is one ply but does have nylon in it which makes it strong. There is also green. It is 100 grams and 284 yards. This is handwash only and lay flat to dry when you make a garment out of it because baby alpaca and merino wool will felt and shrink if washed in the washer and dried in the dryer. Alpaca is one of the warmest fibers and it is incredibly soft. It is nine dollars a skein plus shipping.
